With half term and the Jubilee weekend around the corner we wanted to get in touch to update you on our work as your local representatives and to invite you to a Business Breakfast Talk on the 9th of June organised by the Ward of Cheap Club and the Cheapside Business Alliance.

Caroline Al-Beyerty is the Chamberlain (Chief Finance Officer) for the City of London Corporation. She is the first woman to be appointed to the role of Chamberlain, CoLC’s Chief Financial Officer, since the post was created in 1237.

The City of London Corporation is the governing body of the Square Mile, representing the UK financial and professional services, and tech industry. It manages a wide portfolio including the Barbican Centre, 10 academies, social housing across six London boroughs, three wholesale markets and 11,000 acres of green space including Hampstead Heath and Epping Forest.
